Product Description

Nikkor AF-S 50mm f1.8G lens is Equipped with a Silent Wave Motor (SWM) for extremely quiet autofocusing and two focus modes, M/A (autofocus with manual override) and M (manual). Nikon AF-S 50mm f1.8G lens is light weight and portable with superior rendering performance. Adoption of the 50mm focal length and f/1.8 maximum aperture enables the simple capture of images exhibiting pleasing blur characteristics with hand-held shooting, even in dimly lit indoor settings; when this lens is used with a Nikon DX-format digital-SLR camera, the effective angle of view is equivalent to that of a lens with a 75-mm focal length.
