Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01 digital camera review

Just like other Panasonic, Lumix DMC-FX01 adopts the famous Leica lens and Panasonic MEGA Optical image stabilizer technology. Panasonic FX01 digital camera also has compact camera body design with 2.5 inch LCD screen, 3.6X optical zoom and metal camera body. The major features differentiating with other compact size digital cameras are higher ISO value with high sensitivity mode up to ISO 1600 and wide angle lens. 

The following 2 day shot photos are taken by Panasonic FX01 program mode. (All photos attached have been resized to 500X375 pixels.)

Photo 3 is generated by Lumix FX01 program mode with sepia colour effect. I am also using the bench as the subject for macro photo. Panasonic FX01 digital camera can produce clear macro photo up to 2-3 cm close up to the subject according to our test.

Thanks to Lumix FX01 wide angle lens and 16:9 wide screen format features, these two features help us to generate group photos, big family photos and long length subject photos lot more easier.

The night shot photo generated by Panasonic FX01 night scene mode is with appropriate exposure. I can hardly find the noise generated due to night shot low light environment. It is very easy to take good night shot photos with flash turned off by Panasonic FX01 digital camera. A tripod for night shot is always recommended.

Basically, Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01 digital camera gives you almost every compact digital camera features you need. My personal opinion about Panasonic Lumix FX01 is, it is not the slimmest and most stylish digital camera in the market. Of course, it is not the cheapest digital camera in the market as well. However, the major selling features of this camera are very down to earth and very helpful for users to create good quality photos easily.
