It has 9-pt AF, 3.7fps, Intergrated Cleaning System, 3.0" Hig Resolution wide (3:2) LCD screen, ISO 100-12800, selectable max auto ISO, 14 bit, face detection, 1/4000 max shutter speed, spot metering, HDMI output, stainless steel and polycarbonate body.

It uses SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards, LP-E8 battery and BG-E8 battery grip.
